Goal Statement: By September 30, 2021, create a long-lasting culture of innovation, empowerment, and improvement to reduce the cost of doing business throughout the Department and achieve $16.4B in reform savings (FY20 - $7.7B and FY21 - $8.7B). The Department will drive transformational improvements of business processes, systems, and policies to increase effectiveness and performance while aligning and reprioritizing savings to support the National Defense Strategy (NDS).
